Product Description
A corrugator slitter or corrugated cardboard slitter is used to cut corrugated cardboard into suitable shapes in preparation for further processing. Fast positioning and precise cutting of slitter scribers and blades at high operating speeds is critical. Tungsten carbide (cemented carbide) is the ideal material for corrugated slitting knives due to its toughness, wear resistance and impact resistance, enabling high precision cutting and extended service life.
About Tungsten Carbide
Tungsten carbide is a mixture of tungsten carbide powder and cobalt powder, where cobalt acts as a binder. The production process involves wet grinding, drying, pelletizing, press molding, HIP sintering, and sandblasting. Each material's properties determine the final characteristics of the tungsten carbide product.
